Warranty & Return Policy
This policy applies to all wholesale orders placed with Zhongshan ASC Lighting Technology Co., Ltd. (ASCLighting). It covers product warranty coverage, the conditions under which returns are accepted, and the process for submitting a claim. Read it before placing your first order — understanding these terms upfront prevents disputes later.

Warranty Coverage
We warrant that all luminaires manufactured and shipped by ASCLighting are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and installation conditions.
Standard Warranty Period
2 years from the date of shipment for all standard catalog products.
OEM & Custom Products
Warranty terms for OEM/ODM orders are specified in the individual purchase agreement. Where no specific term is stated, the standard 2-year period applies.
What Is Covered
- LED driver failure under normal operating conditions
- Wiring faults or electrical component failure not caused by improper installation
- Structural defects in die-cast or machined metal components
- Surface finish defects (delamination, peeling, or significant color deviation) that are present at delivery or emerge within the warranty period under normal conditions
- Non-conformance to agreed photometric specifications (lumen output, color temperature) verified against the approved product spec
What Is Not Covered
- Damage caused by improper installation, incorrect voltage supply, or use outside the fixture's rated specifications
- Physical damage from mishandling, impact, or inadequate storage after delivery
- Normal wear, including gradual lumen depreciation within the rated L70 lifespan of the LED module
- Damage caused by environmental conditions beyond the fixture's rated IP classification (e.g., installing an IP20-rated fixture in a wet location)
- Modifications to the fixture made by the buyer or end user after delivery
- Damage resulting from use of non-approved replacement components
A Note on Driver Failures
Our 100% aging test before shipment catches the majority of early-life driver faults before the container loads. If a driver failure occurs within the first 30 days of installation, contact us — we treat early-life failures as a priority and respond faster than the standard claim timeline.
Return Policy
ASCLighting accepts returns under the following conditions. We do not accept returns for change-of-mind, overstock, or market conditions — this is a wholesale manufacturing operation, not a retail channel.
Accepted Return Grounds
DOA (Dead on Arrival)
Fixtures that are non-functional upon delivery, confirmed through inspection.
Shipping Damage
Visible damage caused during transit, documented with photographic evidence at the time of delivery.
Specification Non-Conformance
Products that materially deviate from the agreed specification (finish, dimensions, photometric output) as documented in the purchase order and approved samples.
Warranty Defects
Products that develop covered defects within the warranty period under normal use.
Return Conditions
All return requests must be submitted within 30 days of delivery for DOA and shipping damage claims.
Warranty defect claims must be submitted within the warranty period.
Products must be returned in their original packaging where possible, or in equivalent protective packaging.
Returns require a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number issued by ASCLighting before goods are shipped back — unauthorized returns will not be accepted.
Buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to our manufacturing error or specification non-conformance, in which case we will arrange or reimburse return freight.
Claim Procedure
Document the Issue
Before contacting us, gather the following:
- Order number and invoice reference
- Photographs or video clearly showing the defect or damage
- Quantity of affected units
- Description of the issue and, where relevant, installation conditions (voltage, environment, mounting method)

Assessment
We will review your claim and respond within 5 business days. For complex cases requiring physical inspection of returned samples, we will advise on the inspection timeline after the RMA is issued.

Depending on the nature and scale of the claim, resolution options include:

Replacement Units
Shipped with your next order or as a standalone shipment, depending on quantity and urgency.
Credit Note
Applied to a future order.
Refund
For confirmed defects where replacement is not practical, subject to agreement.
Partial Batch Claims
We do not issue refunds for partial batches where the majority of units are conforming. Replacement or credit is the standard resolution for partial defect claims.
Inspection on Delivery
We strongly recommend inspecting all shipments upon delivery and before installation.
Important Note on Delivery Receipts
Signing a clean delivery receipt without noting visible damage limits your ability to claim shipping damage after the fact. This is standard freight practice, not a policy we control.
Check Carton Condition
Check carton condition before signing the delivery receipt — note any visible damage on the carrier's documentation.
Inspect Sample Units
Inspect a representative sample of units from each carton before installation begins.
Do Not Install Defective Units
Do not install fixtures that show visible defects — installation of a defective unit may complicate the claim assessment.
Limitations
Liability Cap
ASCLighting's liability under this warranty is limited to the value of the defective goods as invoiced. We are not liable for consequential damages, including installation labor costs, project delays, or downstream customer claims, except where required by applicable law.
Non-Transferable
This warranty applies to the original buyer only and is not transferable to end users or third parties.
Claim Deadlines
Claims submitted after the applicable deadline will not be accepted regardless of the nature of the defect.
